Cooper has been a PGA of Canada Member since 2020.
After having a successful junior career, Cooper attended Wallace State Community College
in Hanceville, Alabama from 2013-2015.In 2014 Cooper won the NJCAA National Championship.
When his time at Wallace State was finished he attended Augusta University, in Augusta,
Georgia from 2015-2017. When Cooper completed his education with a degree in Communication he decided to play professionally.
In his second year as a Pro, Cooper won the Great Lakes Tour - Tour Championship. After
completing his third year as a playing professional, Cooper decided to become a P.G.A. of Canada member.
In the summer Cooper is the Teaching Professional at Peterborough Golf and Country Club.
Cooper helps lead all of their teaching opportunities at Peterborough Golf and Country Club.
Cooper has two professional victories, one on the Great Lakes Tour and one on the Toronto Players Tour. Multiple starts and a Top 25 finish on the Mackenzie Tour.
Cooper’s goal with every student is to strengthen their weaknesses and help them identify their strengths. Through Trackman technology, Cooper will provide both on course and technical guidance for your specific needs.

Grew up as a member at Kawartha Golf & Country Club.
Competed in several provincial and national events throughout his golf career.
My objective in teaching the game of golf is to help my students improve their skills and develop their abilities. The student will know and have an understanding of what will occur during the session. They will be given reasons for my suggestions and instruction for change. All instruction I provide will be tailored to the player’s personal goals, physical abilities/limitations and knowledge of the game.

PGA of Canada professional Dan Bathgate is joining Heron Landing for a fourth season in 2025. He brings a wealth of teaching experience, with 7 years at both Kawartha Golf Club and Wildfire Golf Club. He has a passion for teaching and a strong desire to help his students build golfing confidence.
